The PCS – pro – KAIO respirators operate by generating a controlled overpressure through a continuous flow of filtered air. The air is drawn in and purified through filter elements by an integrated control unit, then directed straight into the helmet. The filtration, control, and power modules are fully integrated into the helmet system.
The powered air-purifying system is classified as an assisted ventilation device, providing multiple protection levels: head (EN397 compliant), face and eyes (EN166 compliant), and respiratory tract (EN12941 compliant) against solid and liquid aerosols. The adjustable suspension system ensures optimal forehead fit, improving operational visibility.
The polyamide collar ensures perfect perimeter sealing around the neck.
The modular design allows use in both compact configuration and remote configuration via belt-mounted control unit and battery, simply by changing the rear module.
The e-TA unit integrates a high-efficiency brushless motor, quiet and long-lasting, operated via membrane panel managing power on/off, battery status, and minimum airflow monitoring, with visual and acoustic alerts. Its low weight allows continuous use without the need for support harnesses.
