PRESSURE BAG

PRESSURE BAG was developed to meet a very practical need: performing sandblasting operations with abrasive recovery and safer collection of the residues generated during the process.

The system works through an extraction gun with a front brush that comes into contact with the surface to be treated.

During sandblasting, abrasive and dust are extracted, separated by the cyclone and conveyed into the collection system. Abrasive that is still suitable can be reused, while dust and waste are collected in the continuous bag.

This configuration makes PRESSURE BAG particularly interesting when working in indoor environments, sensitive operating areas, workshops, production departments or contexts where dust management is an important requirement.

Compared to a traditional non-extracting sandblaster, PRESSURE BAG improves control of the working area, reduces post-operation cleaning time and makes the entire operating cycle more organized.

Applications of the PRESSURE BAG abrasive recovery sandblaster

  • Localized sandblasting on metal

Suitable for work on metal structures, metalwork, welds, frames and industrial components.

  • Removal of paint, oxides and coatings

It can be used to remove paint, rust, oxidation and surface residues.

  • Surface preparation before painting

Suitable for controlled preparation of metal, mineral or stone surfaces before subsequent treatments.

  • Workshop operations and industrial maintenance

Useful for treating components, supports, machinery and surfaces subject to wear or oxidation.

  • Work on stone, marble and granite

It can be used for restoration, engraving, decoration and preparation of stone surfaces.

  • Marine applications

Suitable for localized work on metal components and painted surfaces.

  • Operations in indoor or controlled environments

Particularly useful when it is important to limit dust and abrasive dispersion.

Advantages of the PRESSURE BAG sandblaster

Continuous bag residue collection

Dust and waste are conveyed into the continuous bag, reducing direct handling of residues.

Abrasive recovery and reuse

The abrasive is separated from the dust and can be reused when still suitable.

Less dispersion in the working environment

The gun with front brush helps confine the sandblasting area.

Greater operational safety

The system reduces direct operator contact with collected dust and residues.

Automatic filter cartridge cleaning

Reverse pulse cleaning of the cartridges helps keep the extraction system efficient.

Better organization of the work cycle

Sandblasting, abrasive recovery and residue collection are managed in a single, more organized system.

Main components of PRESSURE BAG

  • Pressure sandblasting unit
24-litre pressure tank common to the Pressure range.
  • Remote control
Allows the operator to control the process directly from the gun.
  • Gun body with front brush
Works in contact with the surface, containing abrasive and dust.
  • Double-grip handlebar
Useful configuration for improving stability and control on vertical surfaces.
  • Industrial extraction unit
Recovers abrasive and dust generated during operation.
  • Continuous bag collection system
Conveys dust and residues, reducing direct contact with the collected material.
  • Abrasive/dust separation cyclone
Separates reusable abrasive and waste material.
  • Filter self-cleaning system
Performs reverse pulse cleaning of the filter cartridges to keep extraction efficient.

An abrasive recovery sandblaster with continuous bag system is a machine that uses a recovery system to collect and recycle the abrasive used during sandblasting.

Learn more

This system allows dust and residues to be collected inside a continuous bag, eliminating direct operator contact with potentially hazardous dust.

The Pressure BAG abrasive recovery sandblaster is supported by the innovative 221 Pulse industrial vacuum unit, equipped with a continuous bag collection system.

Thanks to this practical recovery system, the operator never comes into contact with dust or processing residues, either during the sandblasting phase or during disposal.

The cyclone positioned in the upper part of the machine allows effective dust separation and abrasive recovery.

The self-cleaning of the filter cartridges, which takes place in just a few seconds, ensures effective reverse pulse cleaning.

The action of the single-phase 221 Pulse industrial vacuum unit ensures that waste material is conveyed into the Longopac continuous bag.

The Pressure Bag consists of

Common to all versions of the Pressure Blaster range (Base, Max, Infinity, Bag), it is fitted with a 24 L pressure tank.

The system is equipped with a remote control located on the handle.

GUN BODY

The sandblasting / shot-blasting process that enables operation in the absolute absence of dust takes place via a gun body casting with a front brush.

The system uses a handle with a front brush which, working in contact with the surface to be treated, eliminates dust dispersion in the environment.

It also allows the complete recovery and recycling of the abrasive used, separating it from the generated dust.

In the photo, the gun body is fitted with the optional “Double handle control handlebar”.

This handlebar provides great practicality while making it easier to use the sandblaster even on vertical surfaces.

SUCTION UNIT

The single-phase suction unit paired with the sandblasting unit ensures the recovery of the abrasive used and of the dust generated during removal.

The presence of a specific cyclone on the upper part of the sandblasting unit allows the recycling of the abrasive used and the collection of waste material inside the collector drum.

The separation between the dust and the abrasive allows improved sandblasting quality, a longer abrasive life cycle and several advantages:

  • Lower maintenance costs of the parts subject to wear
  • Greater sandblasting speed
  • Greater safety for the operator

When to choose PRESSURE BAG

  • You need to work in indoor or controlled environments
  • You want to reduce direct contact with dust and residues
  • You need more organized waste disposal management
  • You need to perform localized operations on metal, stone or concrete
  • You want to recover and reuse the abrasive
  • You frequently work in workshops, maintenance departments or indoor job sites
  • You cannot use a traditional free-blasting sandblaster

When to consider a different solution

PRESSURE BAG is not the most suitable solution when very large surfaces need to be treated without the need for abrasive recovery.

For large-scale sandblasting or continuous industrial operations, a free-blasting system or a dedicated plant may be more suitable.

It is also useful to consider other configurations when the surface is very irregular and does not allow the front brush to adhere correctly.

Usage recommendations

To obtain good performance, it is important to correctly configure the machine, abrasive, nozzle, pressure and extraction.

Before use, it is advisable to check the condition of the front brush, the integrity of the continuous bag, filter efficiency and correct hose connection.

On delicate surfaces or stone materials, it is preferable to carry out a preliminary test by adjusting pressure and abrasive progressively.

Correct configuration helps improve processing quality, abrasive recovery and dust management.

Is your compressor suitable for the PRESSURE BAG?

The performance of the PRESSURE BAG depends directly on the correct compressed air supply.

To determine whether the existing compressor is suitable, several technical factors must be considered, as they directly affect working continuity, operating efficiency and blasting quality.

Available air flow
Operating pressure
Nozzle diameter
Hose length
Duty cycle continuity
Type of abrasive used
Surface to be treated
Required removal level

An undersized compressor may reduce blasting continuity, slow down operations and compromise the quality of the final result.

For this reason, before purchasing, it is recommended to verify the complete configuration: blasting machine, vacuum system, compressor, hoses, abrasive and accessories must all match the actual application.
