SABIX 200
SABIX 200 is a free-blasting pressure sandblaster with a 200-litre tank, developed for users who need a machine with high autonomy and greater production capacity compared to smaller models.
It is suitable for removing rust, old paint, oxidation, encrustations, surface contaminants and deteriorated coatings from metal structures, construction surfaces, industrial components, manufactured parts, metalwork and parts subject to corrosion.
The main value of SABIX 200 is operational continuity: thanks to the tank capacity, the operator can work longer between refills, reducing downtime and increasing the overall efficiency of the operation.
The machine can be supplied with double remote control or triple remote control. The double control allows automatic start and stop of the machine and includes a lever to help release the abrasive in the event of blockage. The triple control also adds opening and closing management of the abrasive mixing valve.
Applications of the SABIX 200 sandblaster
SABIX 200 is suitable for companies, job sites and professional operators who need to carry out free-blasting operations with high autonomy and greater productivity.
-
Industrial sandblasting

-
High-productivity work
Perfect for operators who want to reduce refill pauses and use larger-diameter nozzles.
Versions with 24-litre and 60-litre autonomy are also available on request.
Recommended areas of use
Industry and heavy maintenance
SABIX 200 can be used for sandblasting metalwork, metal structures, tanks, frames, pipes, systems, machinery and components to be prepared before painting or anti-corrosion treatments.
The 200-litre tank allows longer operation by reducing interruptions for abrasive loading.
Construction and job sites
Suitable for operations on concrete, stone, masonry, bricks, plaster, metal elements and surfaces to be restored.
Marine and shipyard applications
Suitable for painted surfaces, metal components and parts subject to oxidation or corrosion.
Metal fabrication
Ideal for beams, gates, railings, frames and metal manufactured parts affected by rust or deteriorated treatments.
Preparation before painting
It can be used to prepare metal and mineral surfaces before protective cycles, painting and coatings.
Available configurations
The SABIX 200 sandblaster can be supplied with different pneumatic remote-control configurations.
-
Double pneumatic remote control
Allows automatic start and stop of the machine from the working position and includes the abrasive release system in the event of blockage.
-
Triple pneumatic remote control
Allows start, stop, opening and closing of the abrasive mixing valve, as well as management of abrasive flow release.
Operational strengths of SABIX 200
200-litre tank
The high tank capacity provides greater autonomy and reduces interruptions during prolonged work.
High productivity
The possibility of using nozzles from 8 mm up to 12 mm allows productivity to be increased when the compressor is properly sized.
Wheeled structure
The wheeled configuration makes it easier to move the machine around job sites, workshops and industrial facilities.
Medium- to long-distance work
SABIX 200 can be configured to allow work at a distance from the machine body.
How SABIX 200 works
SABIX 200 works by projecting abrasive in free-blasting mode. Compressed air carries the abrasive from the tank to the blasting lance, generating a jet capable of removing rust, paint, oxidation and surface residues.
Machine performance depends on the correct combination of compressor, working pressure, nozzle diameter, abrasive, grain size, hose length and type of surface to be treated.
On a 200-litre machine, it is especially important to correctly size the entire system in order to maintain operational continuity and consistent productivity.
Main components of SABIX 200
-
200-litre tank
Ensures high autonomy and reduces interruptions in prolonged work.
-
Wheeled frame
Makes it easier to move the sandblaster around the working area.
-
Pneumatic remote control
Allows the operator to control the machine directly from the working position.
-
Abrasive mixing valve
Allows abrasive flow and jet continuity to be optimized.
-
Anti-abrasive hose
Hose diameter, length and condition directly influence system performance.
-
Sandblasting nozzles
Compatible with nozzles from 8 mm up to 12 mm depending on the required productivity.
Difference between SABIX 200 and lower-capacity models
Compared to 60- or 120-litre sandblasters, SABIX 200 offers greater autonomy, fewer interruptions and better operational continuity on large surfaces.
It is more suitable for job sites, industry and demanding operations where productivity and autonomy are essential factors.
A more compact machine may be preferable for quick jobs or localized operations, while SABIX 200 becomes advantageous in continuous work.
When to choose SABIX 200
- Work on large surfaces
- Need for high autonomy
- Industrial or marine sandblasting
- Removal of rust and paint
- Use of larger-diameter nozzles
- Medium- or long-distance work
- Need for double or triple pneumatic control
- Reduction of abrasive loading pauses
Usage recommendations
Before using SABIX 200, it is important to define the surface to be treated, abrasive, grain size, operating pressure, nozzle diameter, available air flow rate and working distance.
On metal and metalwork, the machine can be configured for high-productivity operations. On stone and mineral surfaces, it is advisable to adapt abrasive and pressure according to the resistance of the substrate.
In prolonged work, it is important to regularly check the nozzle, anti-abrasive hose, fittings, valves and remote control in order to maintain consistent jet quality.
