SUBLIMA MINI
SUBLIMA MINI was created to meet an increasingly common need: to use dry ice cleaning technology even in contexts where a traditional dry ice blasting machine may be too bulky, too demanding or oversized for the actual application.
The machine is fully pneumatic and does not require an electrical connection. This makes it particularly interesting for mobile operations, workshops, maintenance departments, small laboratories, car detailing activities and companies wishing to introduce dry ice cleaning without having to set up complex systems.
The process uses dry ice pellets projected by compressed air. On impact, the cold helps make the dirt more brittle, while CO₂ expansion promotes the detachment of the contaminant from the surface.
Because dry ice passes directly from a solid to a gaseous state, the only material to be managed after treatment is the dirt that has been removed.
This feature makes SUBLIMA MINI particularly useful when the aim is to reduce water, detergents, solvents, drying times and subsequent cleaning operations.
Who it is recommended for
SUBLIMA MINI is suitable for those looking for a portable dry ice blasting machine for light operations, maintenance work, professional component cleaning and removal of residues from sensitive surfaces.
- Mechanical workshops
- Maintenance companies
- Car detailing
- Restoration of car and motorcycle components
- Technical laboratories
- Maintenance of robotic lawn mowers
- Cleaning of bicycles, e-bikes, scooters and motorcycles
- Industrial departments with rapid intervention requirements
- Companies wishing to reduce the use of water and detergents
- Operators who need a compact, transportable and easy-to-manage machine
Main applications
-
Car detailing and automotive
Ideal for professional cleaning of engine compartments, mechanical parts, rims and components that are difficult to reach.
-
Motorcycles, scooters, bicycles and e-bikes
Allows work on frames, engines, transmissions and components exposed to dirt and road residues.
-
Robotic lawn mowers and garden equipment
Allows dirt and residues to be removed without invasive washing and without wetting sensitive components.
-
Electrical and electronic components
Particularly useful in contexts where the absence of water represents an important operational advantage.
-
Light industry and maintenance
Suitable for removing oils, grease, dust and localized residues from components and machinery.
-
Marine and professional maintenance
Suitable for localized operations on marine components, plastic elements, metal parts and delicate surfaces.
Main advantages
Completely dry process
SUBLIMA MINI works without water. This reduces moisture-related issues and drying times.
No chemical products
The process uses only compressed air and dry ice.
No abrasive to recover
Dry ice sublimates on contact with the surface and leaves no residue from the medium used.
High manoeuvrability
The compact structure makes transport, movement and operational use easier.
No electrical connection
The machine is fully pneumatic and requires only compressed air.
Suitable for sensitive surfaces
It can be used on plastic, rubber, metals, aluminium, copper and delicate components.
Reduced downtime
It reduces dismantling, washing, drying and operations following cleaning.
How dry ice cleaning works
The SUBLIMA MINI process is based on three main elements: compressed air, dry ice pellets and jet adjustment.
COMPRESSED AIR
Generated by a standard pneumatic compressor.
DRY ICE PELLETS
1.5 to 3 mm pellets projected by compressed air.
SUBLIMATION
CO₂ passes directly from a solid to a gaseous state without leaving residues.
The cold helps make the deposit to be removed more brittle, while impact and rapid sublimation promote dirt detachment.
Difference compared to traditional sandblasters
SUBLIMA MINI does not work like a traditional abrasive sandblaster.
In conventional sandblasting, the abrasive material cuts, wears or modifies the surface depending on pressure, type of grit and application.
Dry ice cleaning is instead designed to remove dirt, residues, grease and surface contaminants without generating spent abrasive.
For this reason, it is suitable when the aim is not to aggressively cut into a surface, but to clean it in a controlled and non-invasive way.
When to choose SUBLIMA MINI
- When a compact machine is required
- When transportability is important
- When you want to work without an electrical connection
- When rapid and localized operations are required
- When working in workshops and laboratories
- When sensitive components need to be treated
- When you want to reduce water and detergents
- When you want to introduce dry ice cleaning without immediately moving to larger industrial systems
The system works exclusively pneumatically - no electrical power connection is required
